This play is written for six (versatile!) performers—three women and three men. However, theatres may choose to produce the show with casts as large as nineteen performers or any number in between.

HONEY SUGAR LADY DOLL: WOMEN IN BODACIOUS SHORTS, received its World Premiere at Theatre Tallahassee, directed by Marlene DuBois, on March 25, 2022, and BUDDY BRO BUBBA DUDE : MEN IN TWISTED SHORT S, directed by Brian Davis, received its World Premiere at Theatre Tallahassee in Tallahassee, Florida on March 26, 2022. The costume designs were by Theresa Davis; the lighting designs were by Patrick Campbell; the sets and sound designs were by Brian Davis. The original Jones Hope Wooten show logos were designed by Joe Conner and Luis Morales.
